Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a QA Lead/Test Lead for a major Utility client in the Nation. You will lead testers on Operational Software Implementations, write and execute SIT and UAT cases, and maintain Jira spaces.

This role emphasizes leadership, requirements-driven test planning, and collaboration with multiple business units and vendors. You will define testing structure, oversee test execution, manage progress against timelines, and participate in daily UAT stand-ups.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in a Test Lead or QA Manager role.
• Waterfall methodology experience and AGILE exposure.
• End-to-end testing lifecycle management with organized testing execution.
• Business Analysis: gathering requirements, facilitating meetings, and documenting thoroughly.
• Experience building test environments, QA processes, tests, and cases.
• Experience testing in Software Delivery environments and multi‑platform integrations.
• Ability to coordinate testing, run UAT, and manage Jira test cases.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead testers forOperational Software Implementation projects.
• Write and execute SIT and UAT test cases and ensure traceability.
• Manage Jira space and report testing status to PMs and leadership.
• Collaborate with business units and vendors to build test cases from requirements.
• Balance hands-on testing with strategy and architecture of testing.
• Track task data and progression, ensuring timelines stay on plan.
• Run daily stand ups for UAT and oversee 1–2 projects.
