Scigon Solutions, Inc. in Oak Brook, IL seeks a hands-on QA Lead to own quality from strategy through release. You will write test cases, build automation, and drive UAT, test environments, and CI/CD integration with DevOps partners.

You will mentor the QA team, collaborate with product owners and developers, define acceptance criteria, and implement scalable QA processes to ensure releases meet business expectations.

Competenze

• 7+ years of software quality assurance experience, including at least 3 years in a QA lead role.
• Hands-on experience running UAT programs and managing test environments.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Ability to write SQL queries for test data setup and validation.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Track record of building or improving QA processes, not just following them.
• Ability to explain technical issues to business stakeholders in plain language.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

• Set up, coordinate, and maintain UAT environments, including test data readiness and scheduling.
• Define acceptance criteria with business stakeholders and translate feedback into defects.
