MeritBey LLC is seeking a Test Lead to define and drive QA strategy across digital platforms, data products, and analytics solutions. You will lead test planning, execution, and governance to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable deliverables for clients.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical testing expertise with leadership, ensuring quality is embedded across the delivery lifecycle. You will mentor QA engineers, collaborate with product managers, developers, and data engineers,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
6–10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, including leadership roles.
Strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing.
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, or similar.
Knowledge of API testing, database testing, and data validation techniques.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments.
Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
Understanding of performance, security, and usability testing concepts.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead quality initiatives across projects.

Responsibilities

Define and implement end-to-end test strategies across web, mobile, data, and analytics solutions.
Lead test planning, test design, execution, defect management, and reporting activities.
Manage and mentor QA engineers and testers across multiple projects.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, data engineers, and project managers to align quality objectives.
Establish and enforce testing standards, frameworks, and best practices.
Oversee functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and non-functional testing.
Drive automation testing strategy and tool selection to improve test efficiency and coverage.
Track and report quality metrics, test progress, and release readiness to stakeholders.
Identify quality risks early and recommend mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory testing requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within QA and delivery processes.
