Job summary

Verizon seeks an Engr I QA Tester for Global Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Sustainability to mitigate production defects and enhance user experience through rigorous Quality Assurance testing. You will validate functionality across testing cycles and collaborate with VZ and 3PL teams.

You will document defects in JIRA, ALM, or QTEST, participate in defect management, and develop release documentation while supporting training and change management in a defined hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (or one year+ of relevant work/military experience).
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA or IBP suites.
• Experience in Demand/Supply Planning and/or Procurement.
• Experience in troubleshooting and analyzing issues.
• Experience in system testing.
• Experience using Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Testing functionality for fixes, enhancements, and new releases prior to end-user acceptance.
• Executing daily work instructions with timelines and sign-off dates; escalate delays.
• Uploading testing and defect evidence into JIRA, ALM, or QTEST.
• Participating in defect management meetings for testing areas.
• Driving defect resolution processes.
• Developing documentation for upcoming releases.
• Supporting end-user and production training and organizational change management.
