Job summary
Guidehouse is seeking a QA/Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies in a fast-paced Agile/DevSecOps environment. You will build automated UI/API tests, integrate them into CI/CD, and drive quality across SDLC while collaborating with developers, product owners, and DevOps.
The role requires strong automation experience, testing across web apps and APIs, and a proactive mindset to improve automation frameworks and coverage.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of software quality assurance and test automation experience.
- Experience supporting Agile Scrum environments.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps delivery models.
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and integrated enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Review requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
- Create automated UI, API, database, and integration test suites.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Participate actively in sprint ceremonies and provide testing estimates.
