Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Software Quality Assurance professional to design, execute integration test plans, and validate data flow across systems. You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA to ensure end-to-end coverage.

The role requires US citizenship, IRS clearance, a bachelor’s degree (or four years of related experience), and 2+ years in integration testing; familiarity with JMeter, Postman, Selenium, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Must have pre-existing IRS clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing with a focus on integration testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Experience with testing tools like JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, Selenium, Cucumber, and other testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server for data-driven testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be able to work from IRS Office locations: Martinsburg WV, and other listed sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute integration test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand integration points and requirements.
• Perform end-to-end testing of software systems, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Validate data flow and system interactions across multiple platforms.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices in integration testing.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improving system architecture and integration design.
