Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks a Senior Software Test Analyst (QA) to join our technology team in Lansing, MI. You will design and execute test plans, cases and scenarios, perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing, and manage defects end-to-end with cross-functional partners.

You’ll build automated regression test assets, validate data via SQL, test APIs and system integrations, and contribute to release planning and quality improvements within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years IT QA/testing experience.
• 5+ years test case development and execution.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Review requirements to identify gaps and quality risks.
• Document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Validate fixes with development and business teams.

Job Title : Senior Software Test Analyst (QA)

Position Overview

Join a technology team focused on delivering high-quality enterprise applications through comprehensive software testing and quality assurance. This role offers the opportunity to work across application enhancements, system integrations, and release cycles while partnering closely with developers, business analysts, and business stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
• Review requirements to identify gaps and quality risks
• Document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution
• Validate fixes with development and business teams
• Build repeatable automated test banks and regression test banks
• Create testing metrics and measure quality against requirements
• Perform SQL-based data validation and reconciliation
• Test APIs, system integrations, interfaces, and application workflows
• Support regression testing, deployments, production validation, and release activities
• Maintain testing documentation and provide regular status updates
• Participate in project meetings, requirements reviews, and release planning
• Recommend improvements to testing processes and application quality

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of experience in IT Quality Assurance, software testing, or systems analysis
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and executing test cases
• 5+ years identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar defect management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and database testing
• Experience testing APIs and system integrations
• Experience with automated testing tools
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience with web-based and enterprise applications
• Knowledge of SDLC and software testing methodologies
• Experience supporting large-scale IT projects or system implementations
