Job summary

HTC Global Services in Madison, WI seeks a Senior SDET – API Automation to lead automation efforts and improve API testing. You will build and maintain automation frameworks using RestAssured, JavaScript, and modern CI tools in an Agile environment.

Senior SDET – API Automation (RestAssured/JavaScript)

Position Overview

This role focuses heavily on automation, with an emphasis on API automation, automation framework development, and Agile in-sprint testing. The position is suited for an experienced SDET who can work as an individual contributor, apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and create or enhance automation frameworks.

What You'll Do

• Perform automation-focused testing as an SDET and individual contributor.


• Develop and execute API automation using RestAssured and JavaScript.


• Create and enhance automation frameworks using strong OOPS concepts.


• Support Agile testing with in-sprint automation.


• Work with Jenkins, GitLab, NodeJS, Allure Reports, Jira, Xray, and Confluence as part of the automation and testing process.


• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to testing activities.


• Utilize knowledge and awareness of AWS CloudFront, Datadog, WAF, and vulnerability testing where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience, majorly in Automation.


• Strong API Automation experience using RestAssured and JavaScript.


• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, NodeJS, Allure Reports, Jira, Xray, and Confluence.


• Good OOPS knowledge and the ability to create/enhance automation frameworks.


• Agile Testing experience with In-Sprint Automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Awareness of AWS CloudFront, Datadog, WAF, and vulnerability testing.


• Knowledge of GCP.


• WebDriverIO UI Automation experience.


• Playwright automation experience.

• Insurance domain knowledge.


• Understanding of AWS CloudFront, Datadog, vulnerability testing, or WAF standards.
