Job summary

ALPLA Group in Salt Lake City is seeking an entry-level quality technician to support product testing and documentation. You will learn ALPLA bottle terminology, conduct tests, and assist with line clearance and equipment verifications in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards. A high school diploma and 0–1 year of lab exposure are preferred, with basic computer skills and strong organizational abilities welcomed.

• Experience: 0-1 year with physical lab testing equipment preferred.
• Skills: computer basics, ability to multi-task, good organizational skills.

Main Responsibilities

Product & Process Verification

• Knows ALPLA bottle terminology
• Conducts bottle testing and understands customer specifications
• Performs routine quality checks
• Completes equipment verifications
• Performs line clearance process

Quality Systems & Documentation

• Can properly complete paperwork and standards (basic)
• Navigates document management system
• Understands IMS basics
• Understands OPEX basics
• Can complete COA review and preparation

Data Management and Analytical Tools

• Understands CAQ basics
• Understands statistics basic and/or intermediate as required by location

Nonconforming Product & Problem Solving

• Manages internal and external defective products
• Understands AQL and sampling plans
• Understands problem solving basics
• Participates in RCAs

Performance Metrics

• -On-time completion of assigned training
• -Pass Gauge R&R evaluations
• -Acceptable performance on data integrity audits
• -Departmental goals as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• -Education: minimum education of a High School diploma or equivalent
• -Experience: 0-1 year of experience with physical lab testing equipment, preferred
• -Skills: computer basics, passing ALPLA assessment scores, ability to work well with others, good decision making will minimal supervision, ability to multi-task, good organizational skills
