ALPLA Group in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure product quality and compliance. You will perform testing, maintain documentation, verify equipment readiness, and communicate quality issues as part of investigations.
You will work on product and process verification, quality systems, data management, and nonconforming product handling, collaborating with a safety-minded team committed to continuous improvement.

What Will You Enjoy Doing
The Quality Technician ensures that product quality and compliance standards are consistently met. Other responsibilities include performing accurate testing, maintaining proper documentation, verifying equipment readiness, communicating quality issues and supporting investigations as needed.
Product & Process Verification
Knows ALPLA bottle terminology
Conducts bottle testing and understands customer specifications
Performs routine quality checks
Completes equipment verifications
Performs line clearance process
Quality Systems & Documentation
Can properly complete paperwork and standards (basic)
Navigates document management system
Understands IMS basics
Understands OPEX basics
Can complete COA review and preparation
Data Management & Analytical Tools
Understands CAQ basics
Understands statistics basic and/or intermediate as required by location
Nonconforming Product & Problem Solving
Manages internal and external defective products
Understands AQL and sampling plans
Understands problem solving basics
Participates in RCAs
On‑time completion of assigned training
Pass Gauge R&R evaluations
Acceptable performance on data integrity audits

Education: minimum education of a High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: 0-1 year of experience with physical lab testing equipment, preferred
Skills: computer basics, passing ALPLA assessment scores, ability to work well with others, good decision making will minimal supervision, ability to multi‑task, good organizational skills
