Job summary

A leading company in the garment industry is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to perform daily QA testing and inspections. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high school diploma. Responsibilities include conducting inspections and communicating issues to the QA Supervisor/Manager.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform daily QA testing, In-Process, and Final Inspections.
2. Conduct weekly/monthly QA testing activities.
3. Perform additional QA inspections as needed.
4. Inspect garments for nonconformities according to the garment grading schedule and customer-specific requirements.
5. Scan all inspected garments to the appropriate QA disposition.
6. Use Excel and Word for data entry of testing and inspection results.
7. Communicate issues to the QA Supervisor/Manager.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Capable of wearing cleanroom gowning, including hood, coverall, boots, goggles, face mask, and gloves.
• Computer knowledge of Excel and Word preferred.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly.
• Maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work 8 to 10 hours daily, including Saturdays as needed.

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in quality functions is beneficial.
