Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician II to work with the Quality department to ensure the highest level of product quality across Pressure products. You will collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations to maintain quality control, inspection, testing, and documentation.

The role requires hands-on testing, inspection, and NDE/NDT oversight, with a focus on coating, concrete, and weld-related methodologies.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC or production role in construction/industrial setting.
• Certified or in training for ACI/NACE/SPCC or API is a plus.
• Proficient with inspection tools and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Study quality manuals, procedures, codes, drawings and prep/ report test samples.
• Perform material testing on welds, concrete, cement lining and related samples.
• Inspect pieces produced by departments and qualified vendors; conduct in-process and final inspections.
