Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group – Pressure in Palatka, FL is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician II to join the QA team. You will collaborate with production, operations, and engineering to assure top quality across manufacturing processes and finished goods.

The role requires QA/QC and production experience, familiarity with NDE/NDT methods, and certifications such as ACI, NACE/SPCC, or API. Proactive training and documentation duties are included.

Qualifications

• Previous QA/QC or production experience in related industries.
• Experience with concrete, civil, coatings, welding, or NDE/NDT.
• Qualified by experience or certification in areas: ACI Field Test Technician; NDE/NDT MT/PT/RT/UT/VT; NACE/SPCC Coating Inspector; API 510/570/577.

Responsibilities

• Study and understand the Quality Manual and repair procedures.
• Inspect and report on processes and finished parts to ensure conformance.
• Perform nondestructive examination/testing per applicable standards.
• Conduct internal QA audits and status the findings.
• Provide training to lesser-experienced personnel as needed.
• Complete QA inspection and test reports and calibration records.
• Maintain on-the-job training records and pursue certifications.
