Job summary

Switch is seeking a QA Technician II to help maintain the quality, appearance, and readiness of Switch facilities in Las Vegas. This hands-on role performs quality inspections, facility maintenance, light construction, and corrective work across interior and exterior spaces.

You will identify conditions that do not meet established standards, coordinate corrective actions, and verify that work is finished properly while supporting vendors, customers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education, training, or experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in construction, production, facilities, mechanical maintenance, or a related field.
  • Experience performing facility maintenance, light construction, or similar hands-on work.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify work that does not meet established standards.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and carry out corrective actions for routine facility issues.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Outlook, and internal communication applications.
  • Clear verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of safety practices related to tools, materials, and chemicals.
  • Reliable transportation to the work site.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine quality assurance inspections and document findings for the appropriate support teams.
  • Identify facility conditions that do not meet established standards and complete or coordinate corrective actions.
  • Perform general facility maintenance and light construction work.
  • Complete drywall repair, texturing, painting, floor tile replacement, and similar finish work.
  • Perform minor lighting maintenance, including bulb, fixture, and ballast replacement where appropriate.
  • Maintain floors and other interior and exterior facility areas.
  • Escort vendors performing maintenance or repair work and verify completed work meets requirements.
  • Coordinate access to customer cage areas when required.
  • Perform T-SCIF cleaning and prepare QA items for new T-SCIF spaces.
  • Label, secure, and deliver customer totes.
  • Install door signs, wire racks, plenum rugs, and other facility items.
  • Operate the Hotsy power washer and other approved tools and equipment.
  • Schedule and prioritize multiple assigned maintenance and QA activities.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, vendors, and Switch team members.
  • Complete required LMS training and continue developing job-related skills.

The Role: QA Technician II

As a QA Technician II, you will help maintain the quality, appearance, and readiness of Switch facilities. This hands‑on role performs quality inspections, facility maintenance, light construction, and corrective work across interior and exterior spaces.

You will identify conditions that do not meet established standards, complete or coordinate corrective work, and verify that work is finished properly. You will also support vendors, customers, and internal teams while helping keep facilities clean, safe, and ready for daily operations and customer tours.

This role may require work outside standard business hours to support facility needs.

What You’ll Do
