Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, or related field preferred.
• 5+ year of QA or food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality checks and inspections throughout production and warehouse areas.
• Monitor compliance with GMPs, food safety policies, and company procedures.
• Conduct line checks, product evaluations, and in-process inspections.
• Collect and document quality data accurately and timely.
• Verify product labeling, packaging, coding, and specifications.
• Monitor sanitation and housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
• Assist with product holds, releases, and non-conformance investigations.
• Support environmental monitoring and allergen control programs.
• Report quality and food safety concerns to management promptly.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Assist with internal audits and audit preparation activities.
• Participate in corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support employee GMP and food safety compliance efforts.
• Other duties as assigned
