Job summary

Pacific Seafood is seeking a Value Creation and Quality Technician I in Seward, AK. The role emphasizes quality assurance, documentation, and cross-department collaboration to uphold safety standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum one-year related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Be available nights and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GFSI, SSOP and COOL Act is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance and Improvement: Conduct Food Safety and Quality inspections for specific processes.
• Perform regularly scheduled inspections and report on quality defects.
• Communicate with operations and sales teams to meet quality standards and labeling requirements.
• Document quality checks of product through the entire process and maintain records for HACCP, SSOP, and Quality Standards.
• Assist plant quality activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support achievement of quality department goals and objectives.
