Purpose Statement: The QA Technician's purpose is to assure food safety through HACCP compliance monitoring, implementing corrective actions, and reporting deviations to the QA Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document test results and communicate out-of-spec results with QA and Production leadership.
• Collect capability study data for new and existing product codes.
• Perform QA tasks including product sampling, line monitoring, auditing, and calibrations to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Place ingredients and finished goods on hold as directed by QA Leadership.
• Investigate the root cause of defects in raw and finished products and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a quality culture through GMP compliance.
• Keep work area organized and clean.
• Use Patrol Suite and SAP for data entry.
• Submit reports for foreign material findings, holds, and incidents.
• Follow safety procedures, including LOTO, in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• Relevant work experience.
• Experience in QA testing methods (preferred but not required): viscosity, pH, allergen testing kits, ATP swabs, environmental monitoring swabs.
• One year of experience in commercial food processing (preferred).
• Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and iPads (preferred).
• Knowledge of SAP systems (preferred).
• Ability to handle change and pressure, and willingness to continue training.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate laboratory equipment.
• Attention to detail and sensory evaluation skills.
