Base pay range

$32.00/yr - $35.00/yr

Title: Maintenance Technician - Custom Food Ingredient Manufacturer - 3RD SHIFT

Location: La Grange, IL 60525

Pay: $32 - $35 / Hour + Overtime

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 12am - 8:30am (3rd Shift)

Founded in 1895 we are a 100 employee manufacturer of custom sauce solutions for the consumer packaged goods, retail and foodservice industries. We develop made-to-order wet fill products which includes sauces, dips, spreads and specialty pastes for customers across the US. Our facility in La Grange is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician on 3rd shift who is strong in the preventive maintenance space on our production equipment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance on food processing & packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems ensuring minimal downtime
• Maintain PLC-controlled machinery incl: mixers, conveyors & filling systems
• Ensure food safety compliance following GMP & OSHA standards
• Conduct routine inspections & document maintenance activities using ERP system
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency
  
  

What You Need For This Position

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing or packaging
• Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, ammonia refrigeration & automated systems
• Familiarity w/ lean manufacturing principles & preventive maintenance programs
• Ability to work 3rd shift & respond to emergency repairs
