Job description

Job Title: QA Technician

Duration- 6 months (Possible Extension)

Location: North Chicago, IL, 60064

Work Schedule: 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM | Weekends Included | 100% Onsite




Purpose:

To perform inspection, sampling, and physical testing of in-process and final packaged pharmaceutical products in accordance with product specifications and cGMP standards.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine testing on in-process and finished product per approved specifications and procedures.

  • Support manufacturing operations in meeting production schedules and quality requirements.

  • Identify and report quality issues promptly and accurately.

  • Escalate problems beyond the scope of training or expertise to appropriate personnel.


Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.

  • Minimum 2 years of overall work experience.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or finishing environment (preferred).

  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations related to pharmaceutical products (preferred).

  • Basic mathematical proficiency.

  • Strong clerical and documentation skills.
