Job summary

Responsibilities

• Initiate internal and customer related incidents investigation via root cause analysis and engage relevant functions to develop corrective solutions.
• Monitor and enforce GMP and sanitation requirements.
• Inspect equipment and rooms for cleanliness and readiness; coordinate follow-up cleaning.
• Review quality data and operate checks (e.g., CCP, PC, QA, MO) and perform positive release.
• Contribute to transitioning to Total Quality Management and train on food safety programs.
• Use SAP for lab analysis and specification repository.
• Lead projects such as Quality Improvement Plan initiatives and customer requests.
• Participate in shift change meetings and Gemba audits; maintain QMS documents as needed.
• Develop measures to improve food safety and product quality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

About the role

This role is for a Quality Assurance Analyst.

Shift M-F 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM

Salary $63,000 - $103,000

Key responsibilities

• Initiate internal and customer related incidents investigation (Foreign material, rejects, holds, etc.) via a formal root cause analysis; engage all relevant functions in the investigation, analyzes and resolves problems to develop corrective solutions, and assists employees in solving problems.
• Monitor and enforce company and government regulations pertaining to Good Manufacturing Practices and sanitation requirements.
• Inspects equipment and rooms to ensure they are clean/sanitized and ready for production. Follow through with responsible parties in the event additional cleaning is needed.
• Review and assist in compiling quality and statistical data like CCP, PC, QA and Operational checks (Magneto, MO), and perform positive release.
• Perform activities to transition to a Total Quality Management System (i.e. conduct projects that enable in line monitoring and training to food safety programs).
• Use SAP for lab analysis and specification repository.
• Take part and and/or lead projects as assigned. (i.e. Quality Improvement Plan initiatives, customer related requests, etc.).
• Participate in shift change meetings, internal Gemba audits and other, supporting to write and maintain documents in accordance with the Kerry Global Quality Management System as needed.
• Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve food safety and quality of product.
• All other duties as assigned.
