Qualifications

• Ability to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
• Demonstrate leadership in food safety and plant regulatory affairs.
• Thorough understanding of FDA and/or USDA inspected manufacturing facilities.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Bi-Lingual preferred, but not required.
• Able to work with cross functional departments within the organization.
• Good problem-solving and corrective action/resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all raw materials, production procedures, standards and overall finished product quality.
• Conduct line monitoring of all production lines; record measurements and weights; stop line if needed.
• Assist in updating production and food safety aids (HACCP, GMPs).
• Conduct daily plant walk-through and audit GMP and food safety compliance.
• Maintain organized, detailed and legible records.
