Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience.
• At least 2 years leading QA/engineering teams.
• Owning test planning, strategy, execution, and release readiness.
• Experience scaling QA teams and processes.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, API, and risk-based testing.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with Product and Engineering.
• Ability to lead while staying technically involved when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality strategy across functional, regression, API, automation testing.
• Manage and mentor a 3–5 QA Engineers; set priorities and growth paths.
• Own release readiness; evaluate results and risk for go/no-go decisions.
• Partner with Product & Engineering early in sprint planning.
• Strengthen bug reporting with clear reproduction steps and evidence.
• Build smarter regression coverage; retire outdated tests.
• Drive automation initiatives and measure quality.
• Communicate quality and risk to leadership.
• Build for auditability with traceable test documentation.
