Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Assurance for Falcon on the second shift in Hawthorne, CA. You will lead a team of quality inspectors, drive performance, and supervise QA activities using SpaceX processes in a fast-paced setting.

The role involves leading RCCA activities, root-cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence, while ensuring critical characteristics in production are properly controlled and equipment foundations met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in aerospace, military, manufacturing, production, or testing environment.
• 1+ years of experience leading a team or project.
• In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (AS9100/ISO 9001) and Lean Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of quality inspector staff and drive accountability for team performance.
• Oversee QA activities using SpaceX processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform RCCA, root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions to reduce nonconformances.
• Establish equipment/layout requirements and oversee critical characteristic control in production.
