Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supervisor of Quality Assurance (Falcon) for the second shift in Hawthorne, CA. You will lead a team of quality inspectors, drive performance, and ensure QA activities align with SpaceX processes in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires leadership experience in a technical field and strong knowledge of QA methods, PFMEA/FMECA, and SPC. You will collaborate across production to maintain high-quality flight hardware standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years in aerospace, military, manufacturing, production, or testing.
• 1+ years leading a team or project.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of quality inspector staff and drive accountability for team performance.
• Supervise completion of QA activities using SpaceX processes and systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Implement training and certifications as needed to maintain a highly skilled workforce.
• Lead RCCA process; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce non-conformances.
• Oversee critical characteristic control within the production process, including equipment/layout requirements.
