Job summary

Marathon Cheese Corporation is seeking a QA Supervisor for onsite work at the Marathon facility in Wisconsin. You will oversee quality systems, testing, and compliance with SQF, PCQI, and customer standards while collaborating with plant operations to run a safe, efficient and profitable facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science or equivalent education and work experience preferred.
• 1–2 years QA experience in field, lab, or production facility quality control/assurance in food processing.
• Ability to supervise direct reports and maintain discipline and morale.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Preventive Controls/HACCP certification.
• Ability to write reports and present information to managers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA services, including GMP compliance, weight control, package integrity, and allergen controls.
• Plan and assign work of subordinates and maintain team discipline.
• Investigate personnel problems and manage hiring/promotions/terminations as needed.
• Maintain quality records and support quality improvement programs.
• Develop/adapt quality equipment to meet standards and suggest improvements.
• Lead CAPA investigations for food safety and quality complaints.
