Position: QA Supervisor (2nd Shift) based in Aurora, CO. Responsible for supervising daily production floor quality activities, coordinating quality activities, providing leadership to ensure an effective food safety and quality management system, and offering technical support with an emphasis on customer expectations, continuous improvement opportunities, and productivity requirements. The role oversees QA technicians and ensures understanding of Quality Management Systems such as SQF, HACCP, and GMP to guarantee product safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of QA Technicians to ensure all QA tasks are carried as desired.
• Provides guidance regarding quality and food safety issues to operations and QA teams.
• Coaches, trains, and supports the QA team to support business growth.
• Communicates daily with FSQA Techs regarding production schedule and QA issues.
• Trains FSQA Techs and performs new employee orientations.
• Maintains inventory of QC/lab supplies and coordinates training from suppliers or new equipment purchased.
• Works with the QA Manager to discipline workers as appropriate.
• Reviews and organizes operational paperwork on a daily basis.
• Supports the execution of internal and third‑party audits (e.g., customer, regulatory, GFSI) and participates in inspections, analyzing results and deficiencies found.
• Sponsors production managers, supervisors, and leads during formula changes and/or product issues.
• Assists with the activities of the company's hold, trace, & recall program and is responsible for summarizing Hold reports.
