Job summary

Trihydro Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Technology Services and Solutions team in a full-time role. You will develop, manage, and execute test plans for web, mobile, and API-based applications, focusing on connected vehicle and digital infrastructure-related technology.

The position requires a BS in a related field and 2+ years of QA experience, with strong manual and exploratory testing skills.

Qualifications

BS in CS/IT/Math/Physics or equivalent.
Two+ years of software QA experience.
Strong manual and exploratory testing skills.
Experience logging clear, reproducible defects.
Experience testing RESTful APIs.
Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and execute test plans and test cases to evaluate software functionality, usability, reliability, and compatibility.
Perform hands-on manual testing of web, mobile, and API-based applications.
Identify edge cases, unexpected behavior, usability concerns, and risks.
Determine when manual vs automated testing is appropriate.
Document and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
Support regression, integration, and smoke testing for releases.
Contribute to test automation and learn automation skills as needed.
Collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and QA team members; mentor juniors.
