Job summary

CM Labs Simulations in Sandy, Utah, seeks an Intermediate Quality Assurance Specialist to help ensure the quality of our simulation software and immersive simulator systems through hands-on testing, investigation, and clear documentation.

You will own end-to-end test planning for features, collaborate with developers, product managers, and customer support, and contribute to release readiness and QA best practices across software and hardware environments.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of professional experience in a software QA or testing role.
• Understanding of QA fundamentals and software testing concepts.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to produce clear test plans, release documentation, and technical docs.
• Strong organizational skills for multiple workstreams.
• Comfortable troubleshooting Windows-based applications and integrated systems.
• Experience reading/modifying data in XML, JSON, CSV.
• Knowledge of hardware, peripherals, and networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing of complete simulator systems.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases.
• Record test results with evidence of coverage and defects.
• Identify, reproduce, investigate, and document defects for resolution.
• Participate in Agile development activities and cross-functional collaboration.
• Communicate release readiness and test coverage clearly to stakeholders.
