Job summary

Bodwé Group Companies is seeking a Quality Assurance Support Specialist to provide onsite QA for procurement, installation, maintenance, and construction at USAMRIID Fort Detrick, MD. The role focuses on UMCS, BAS, ESS, and related facility systems in high-containment environments.

Candidates should have extensive QA/QC in biosafety facilities, strong mechanical controls experience, and the ability to coordinate with government personnel. U.S. citizenship and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in high-containment medical research facilities.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical controls.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience at a biosafety laboratory.
• Minimum Associate's degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering field.
• Experience with high-containment medical research facilities up to BSL-4 involving mechanical controls engineering, programming, installation, and validation.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provides onsite quality assurance support for major repair, replacement, maintenance, and construction projects.
• Supports procurement and installation activities related to UMCS, BAS, ESS.
• Coordinates with Facility Managers, Project Managers, facilities staff, and Government personnel.
• Reviews project schedules and performs technical and project documentation reviews.
• Attends meetings supporting operations, repair, maintenance, and construction activities.
