Egan, a Grand Rapids-based mechanical contractor founded in 1919, is seeking a Quality Assurance & Control Support Specialist to work with the Quality Control Manager (QCM) and our fabrication department. Qualifications

• 2+ years of QA-QC experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Superior organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the QCM, including document tracking, logging, and material traceability
• Record and verify heat numbers to ensure complete material traceability
• Maintain organized Quality Control documentation and inspection records
• Prepare and compile Quality Assurance packages for customer and project submittals
• Support shop-floor quality standards in coordination with the QCM
• Assist with continuous improvement of Quality Control processes and procedures
• Support internal and external audits as needed
• Provide daily support to the QCM to ensure efficient execution of QA/QC processes
