Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America is seeking a QA/QC Supervisor for structured cabling installations, including copper, fiber, and low‑voltage systems. You will oversee quality assurance, coordinate field inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

You will lead technicians, manage NCRs, and collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in low‑voltage cabling, telecommunications, or electrical systems.
• 3+ years of structured cabling or low‑voltage installation experience, with 1–2 years in QA/QC or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of copper/fiber installation, testing, labeling, and documentation.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem‑solving, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Structured Cabling Quality Oversight—Develop and enforce QA/QC procedures for copper, fiber, and low‑voltage installations.
• Field Inspections—Perform site inspections to verify cable routing, support systems, labeling, terminations, and workmanship.
• Testing & Certification—Oversee copper and fiber testing using Fluke or equivalent tools; validate results for compliance.
• Standards Compliance—Ensure installations meet TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC, and project specs.
• Documentation Control—Maintain as‑built drawings, test files, punch lists, and quality logs.
• Team Leadership—Train and supervise technicians on installation methods and testing procedures.
• Material & Equipment Verification—Inspect incoming cable, connectivity hardware, racks, and pathways.
• Issue Resolution—Identify deficiencies, issue NCRs, track corrective actions, verify rework.
• Client & Contractor Coordination—Communicate quality findings with PMs, general contractors, and clients.
• Safety & Pathway Compliance—Ensure pathways, penetrations, and firestopping meet code.
