Job summary

OBR Management is seeking a Quality Assurance Quality Control Specialist to support quality systems for cooling technology projects across manufacturing and field installations in Phoenix, AZ.

The role requires 2–3 years of QA/QC experience in relevant settings, with a technical degree preferred. You will interpret drawings, perform inspections, develop ITPs, and coordinate with engineering and field teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years QA/QC experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, data center, electrical, or related environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Project.
• General knowledge of electrical installation practices (cable tray, pulling, terminations) preferred.
• Certified QA credentials are a plus (CMQ/OE, CQA, CQE, CRE, or CSSBB).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage quality processes to ensure compliance with specifications and reliability standards.
• Evaluate and qualify vendors to align manufacturing and quality processes with standards.
• Identify quality parameters for in-house manufacturing and field installation projects.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and standards (OBR and customer).
• Assist with inspections and quality verification of electrical installation work (cable trays, pulls, terminations).
• Ensure installation activities meet project specs, drawings, codes, and quality requirements.
• Use measuring tools (tape measures, torque wrenches, testing meters) to support inspections.
• Coordinate and oversee testing processes and develop ITPs.
• Conduct shop and site audits as required.
• Develop non-conformance reports and drive corrective actions with teams.
• Identify recurring issues and implement preventive actions.
• Review client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws and policies.
• Prepare quality materials for meetings and training sessions.
