Job summary

Upgrade Resources is seeking a QA/QC Superintendent for on-site leadership in the DFW metro area. You will drive field quality planning, inspections, and turnover for commercial mechanical projects, aligning with contract requirements and client expectations.

The role requires 8+ years in mechanical construction or QA/QC leadership, strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and commissioning, and proficiency with Procore/Autodesk Construction Cloud. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• AWS CWI is a top priority for this search.
• Authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship).
• 8+ years in commercial mechanical construction or QA/QC leadership.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, controls, and commissioning.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital planning, project management, and document control.
• Valid driver's license with travel to multiple sites and willingness for odd hours.
• Bachelor's/Associate degree or mechanical apprenticeship preferred.
• 1–2 years leading QA/QC personnel or major mechanical scopes preferred.
• OSHA 30 Construction plus related certifications preferred.
• Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Power BI, or similar platforms preferred.
• Experience in healthcare/data center/lab/manufacturing/mission-critical projects preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality plans, ITPs, staffing, and documentation standards.
• Lead QA/QC project coordinators and coordinate with field teams.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, codes, and commissioning plans.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, start-up, and turnover activities.
• Manage deficiency logs, prioritization, and root-cause analysis.
• Conduct quality audits and drive continuous improvement in field execution.
• Report quality metrics to leadership and elevate risks as needed.
