Job summary

POWERX is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to ensure the quality and accuracy of testing and reporting activities, including reviews of test reports and data validation. You will support audits, enforce documentation standards, and train teammates on QA/QC and NETA requirements.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, effective communication, and collaboration with internal teams and clients to meet quality goals and project timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in QA/QC and data review in technical environments.
• NETA certification is a plus; OSHA 10, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized records of test reports, reviews, and data sheets in line with quality management systems.
• Assist in internal and external audits and provide documentation for compliance.
• Establish and enforce documentation standards within the assistant project manager function.
• Thoroughly review data sheets and test reports for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Cross-reference details against electrical drawings, NETA tables, and manufacturer data.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate with teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Submit accurate data sheets to clients after review and correction.
• Provide progress updates to the immediate manager and participate in continuous improvement.
• Train and guide teammates on QA/QC processes and NETA requirements.
