Job summary

Southland Industries in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a seasoned QA/QC Inspector to oversee quality programs for our modular construction manufacturing site. You will ensure MEP systems meet codes and standards, and you will document results with reports and photos.

You will lead inspections, review drawings, and train teammates on quality procedures in an agile, collaborative environment that values growth and innovation. Experience in electrical or mechanical inspection is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Electrical or Mechanical inspection, or 10+ years in manufacturing inspection.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inspection techniques, and quality control methodologies.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection data.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement instruments.
• Ability to identify defects and a commitment to high-quality construction standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to collaborate within a team.
• Proficiency in operating electronic inspection software and related computer tasks.

• Communication & Collaboration:Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to collaborate and function well within a team.

• Computer Skills: Ability to operate electronic inspection software and other computer-related tasks.
