Job summary

Sargent Electric Company in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a QA/QC Manager for the Bloom PIT Campus Power Station project. This on-site role leads QA/QC specialists and ENERGY MARSHAL, ensuring quality, safety, and timely turnover packages to the owner.

Required BS in Engineering or related field, 8–12 years QA/QC in electrical construction, and proficiency with QA/QC platforms (ProjectSight/Procore/Bluebeam). OSHA 30 and NETA/CQE/ICC certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with NETA/ATS testing, megger & insulation tests, torque verification, MV cable testing
• Experience with QA/QC platforms such as ProjectSight, Procore or similar, Bluebeam & MS Office
• Certifications such as ASQ CQE/CQM, NETA Level III, ICC or similar, OSHA 30 preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to enforce quality requirements

Responsibilities

• Own the Quality Program: develop/maintain quality plan, inspection/test plans, hold/witness points, benchmarks, tool/meter records
• Lead inspections and NCR resolution; manage NCR disposition and corrective actions
• Control owner quality records: photos, torque logs, tool/meter records, NETA test results, record packages
• Direct commissioning, energization, and turnover with the owner
• Represent quality with owner and GC; support audits and project reviews
• Lead QA/QC team; assign work and foster growth of QA/QC Specialists and Energy Marshal
• Champion safety culture; uphold standards and train teams
• Crave learning through hands-on training and mentorship
• Take on additional responsibilities as delegated by Sargent leadership
