Job summary

Advanced Giga Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Manager to serve as the quality authority across modular data center modules. You will audit partner QC, own NCR processes, and ensure every shipped module meets AGI standards and client specifications.

You will build and own the QA program, define ITPs, manage third-party inspections, and sign off readiness for FAT. This role requires deep fabrication quality experience and hands-on site involvement.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial fabrication or modular manufacturing.
• AWS CWI or equivalent welding inspection certification.
• Experience auditing fabrication partners and managing QA programs.
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection and NDE methods.
• Ability to read mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Comfortable working embedded at a fabrication partner facility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project Quality Management Plan covering fabrication, assembly, testing, and documentation requirements.
• Define inspection and test plans (ITPs) for all fabrication disciplines - structural, mechanical piping, electrical, and controls.
• Conduct regular audits of fabrication quality - verify QC holds, weld inspections, dimensional checks, and documentation are meeting AGI standards.
• Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process -identify, document, disposition, and track resolution of quality issues.
• Coordinate third-party inspections (NDE, hydrostatic testing, electrical testing) and manage the inspection scheduling to avoid production delays.
• Review and approve material test reports (MTRs), weld procedure qualifications (WPQs), and welder certifications.
• Maintain the quality documentation package for each module - inspection records, test results, NCRs, as-built markups - that will be delivered to the client.
• Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) as the quality representative, verifying all punch list items are resolved before shipment authorization.
• Establish quality metrics and reporting - track NCR rates, rework rates, first-pass inspection rates, and report trends to leadership.
• Support commissioning and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) with quality documentation and resolution of any quality-related punch list items.

The Role

AGI is hiring a QA/QC Manager to serve as our quality authority across a series of modular data center infrastructure modules.Our fabrication partners perform their own quality control on the shop floor.Your role is to manage AGI's quality assurance program on top of that - auditing their QC work, managing inspection hold points, owning the NCR process, and ensuring that every module that ships to our hyperscale client meets AGI's standards and the client's specifications.

You will build the QA program, define inspection and test plans, manage third-party inspection when required, and be the person who signs off that a module is ready for FAT.On a program this size with an aggressive schedule, quality problems found after shipment are catastrophic.Your job is to catch them in the shop.

What You Will Actually Do

Who You Are

• 15+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial fabrication, piping construction, MEP systems, or modular manufacturing
• AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) or equivalent welding inspection certification
• Experience managing a QA program in an oversight capacity - auditing a fabrication partner or subcontractor, not just performing direct QC inspection
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection (AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3 as applicable), NDE methods, and hydrostatic testing requirements
• Experience developing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs),Quality Management Plans, and NCR tracking systems
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications
• Familiarity with client-driven quality requirements in mission-critical or regulated environments
• Strong documentation skills - the quality record package for each module is a deliverable to the client
• Comfortable working embedded at a fabrication partner facility while representing AGI's quality standards independently

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience in data center, pharmaceutical, or semiconductor fabrication quality management
• Experience with digital quality management systems (CxAlloy or similar)
• Bilingual English/Spanish (our fabrication partner team operates primarily in Spanish)
• ASME, API, or NBBI inspection certifications
