Job summary

DSJ Global is hiring a Quality Control Manager for a major MEP construction project in Maryland. This site-based role owns the full QA/QC program from planning through execution and reports to the construction leadership.

You will develop standards, review specs for code compliance, and drive corrective actions. The position requires a strong background in lean methods, project management, and leadership of field teams, with a competitive compensation package and employee ownership culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years relevant experience, including 3+ years in a lead capacity.
• Lean construction/manufacturing principles.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate QA/QC standards across the project.
• Review specifications for code compliance and constructability.
• Lead field observations of MEP systems against approved plans and contract documents.
• Prepare quality control reports for the management team.
• Identify deficiencies and drive corrective actions to resolution.
• Run QC/QA preparatory and planning meetings ahead of field work.
• Coach, develop, and provide performance feedback to direct reports.
