Job summary

Edison Smart® is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality activities on a major data center project in Austin, TX. You’ll oversee QA/QC from construction through commissioning and turnover, coordinating inspections, audits, and documentation with electrical and mechanical teams.

The role requires strong QA/QC process knowledge, experience on data center or mission critical projects, and excellent communication to manage stakeholders and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a QA/QC Manager on Data Center or mission critical projects.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, inspections and turnover procedures.
• Experience overseeing electrical and/or mechanical packages.
• Ability to manage quality teams while working closely with project management, construction and commissioning teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project QA/QC programme from construction through to turnover.
• Manage inspections, walkdowns, audits and quality verification activities.
• Review ITPs, test packs, redlines and turnover documentation.
• Coordinate closely with construction, commissioning and subcontractor teams.
• Manage punch lists and drive the timely resolution of quality issues.
• Ensure all installations are delivered in accordance with project specifications, client standards and industry best practices.
• Support commissioning readiness and final system handover.
