Job summary

Confidential Employer in Mukilteo, WA is seeking a qualified QA/QC lead to oversee quality assurance across active public works, civil, and institutional construction projects. You will develop and execute project-specific quality control plans, review drawings and specs, and coordinate testing and documentation with project teams.

You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, field crews, and owners to resolve quality concerns, track punch lists, and maintain quality logs.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of construction QA/QC or quality control experience.
  • Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, plans, and technical requirements.
  • Experience with general contractors or civil/infrastructure/public works projects preferred.
  • Familiarity with earthwork, underground utilities, structural concrete, or related scopes is valuable.
  • Strong documentation, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with project management and field operations teams.
  • Relevant construction quality, inspection, or safety certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and other project stakeholders regarding quality requirements.
  • Help prevent rework by identifying potential issues early and promoting consistent construction practices.
  • Support continuous improvement of company-wide QA/QC procedures and field quality standards.

Note

Candidates should bring 4+ years of directly relevant construction QA/QC or quality control experience. Experience with general contracting, civil construction, infrastructure, public works, utilities, concrete, or similar construction environments is strongly preferred.
