Job summary

Confidential Employer in Mukilteo, WA seeks a Project Engineer/PM with 3+ years of construction experience to lead civil and building projects on-site. You will coordinate procurement, scheduling, and cost control while collaborating with field teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of construction Project Engineer or Project Management experience.
  • Experience with self-performed structural concrete projects.
  • Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate civil and building construction projects from procurement through completion.
  • Manage material supplier and subcontractor negotiations, buyouts, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements.
  • Coordinate RFIs and submittals to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Create, review, and interpret construction schedules.
  • Prepare schedules of values and manage monthly project billings.
  • Track extra work and prepare change order proposals.
  • Price and negotiate change orders while maintaining project documentation.
  • Support self-performed structural concrete, earthwork, and underground utility scopes.
  • Collaborate with field leadership, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Help identify and resolve project issues while maintaining schedule, quality, and cost objectives.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Note: Candidates must have 3+ years of construction Project Engineer or Project Management experience and hands-on experience supporting or managing structural concrete projects. Experience with self-performed civil construction, particularly earthwork and underground utilities, is strongly valued.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of construction Project Engineer or Project Management experience.
  • Structural concrete project experience required.
  • Civil, sitework, earthwork, or underground utility construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with subcontractor and supplier coordination, RFIs, submittals, scheduling, billing, and change orders.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to coordinate effectively across field and office teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, HeavyJob, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam preferred.
