Job summary

CRH is seeking a QA & QC Technician to verify QA/QC compliance of raw and processed materials through laboratory testing. You will report to the worksite on time, attend daily safety briefings, and ensure all QC and QA tests are performed to company standards.

Responsibilities include loading customer trucks, collecting samples, recording results, and assisting in daily clerical tasks as needed at the processing facility and staging area. A strong eye for detail and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with relevant skill/trade training.
• At least 1 year of experience in a QA/QC or lab role.
• Ability to read digital scale readouts accurately and perform basic math.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work under supervision or independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory testing equipment like furnaces, ovens, and scales.
• Record, retain, and distribute lab results.
• Operate an instrument control panel and CB radio for communications.
• Attend daily safety briefings and ensure timely QA/QC tests.
• Maintain professional lab environment and adapt to higher sample volumes.
