Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to evaluate conformance of materials, equipment, and installations to project specifications. You will inspect field activities, generate reports, and notify management of issues, while maintaining thorough QA/QC documentation.

The role requires the ability to read blueprints, record field data, and uphold safety standards on large scale wind, solar, and industrial sites. Associates degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field or HS diploma/GED with 1–3 years construction field experience.
• Inspection certifications such as NDE are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect and ensure quality of work during daily construction activities on wind, solar, and industrial projects.
• Document project activities and prepare punch lists.
• Calibrate and verify measuring/testing equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections for permanent filing.
• Interface with field supervision to monitor progress and subcontractor performance.
