Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to ensure conformance of materials and installation to client specifications on large-scale wind, solar, and industrial projects in US-IL-Maroa.

Responsibilities include inspection, reporting, and coordinating with field teams to maintain quality and schedules. The role requires an Associate degree or GED with construction experience, safety awareness, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field, or High School/GED with 1–3 years experience in related construction field.
• Inspection related certifications, such as NDE, preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and ensure the quality of work during daily construction activities on wind, solar, and industrial projects.
• Document QA/QC data, generate reports, and maintain punch lists.
• Plan and conduct inspections to meet project schedules and reporting criteria.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure calibration of measuring/testing equipment.
• Interface with field supervision to ensure QA/QC compliance.
