Job summary

MasTec, Inc. seeks a Quality Inspector to verify conformance of materials, equipment and installation on large wind, solar and industrial projects. Under general supervision, you will inspect daily activities, generate reports, and coordinate with field teams to ensure QA/QC requirements are met.

Candidates should have an associate degree or GED with 1–3 years of construction field experience, knowledge of blueprints, ability to document field data, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field.
• Inspection certifications, such as NDE, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and ensure quality of work on large scale wind, solar, and industrial projects.
• Read blueprints and technical procedures; document project activities.
• Write daily reports documenting project activities.
• Maintain QA data and punch lists; ensure accuracy of records.
