Job summary

ISC Constructors, LLC in Lebanon, Indiana is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our field team. You will inspect all Instrument and Electrical installations to ensure compliance with drawings, client standards and codes, and you will coordinate with field supervision to verify installations meet requirements.

The ideal candidate has NCCER accreditation in Electrical or Instrumentation, 6 years of E/I industrial experience, and at least 2 years QA/QC in fabrication/testing.

Qualifications

• Six years’ related experience in E/I industrial work.
• Two years of QA/QC experience in fabrication, testing, or installation.
• NCCER accreditation in Electrical or Instrumentation.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards for E/I installation and testing.
• Technical knowledge across engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, inspection and testing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all Instrument and Electrical installations to ensure compliance with drawings, client standards and codes.
• Interact with field supervision to verify installations meet drawings, standards and codes.
• Be self-motivated, personable, a team player and communicate effectively with supervision and the client.
• Conduct drawings audits to ensure the most current revision is used.
• Witness testing of cable hi-pots and megs, pressure testing, calibration of transmitters, valves, and instruments; keep records of inspections.
• Spot check materials for conformance to site standards; ensure calibration certificates are current; report findings to QA/QC Manager/Coordinator.
• Maintain a punch list by logging discrepancies and reporting findings to QA/QC Manager/Coordinator.
