The QA/QC Field Engineer is a technical assistant to the field, acting as an internal liaison between the field, Project Management team, Preconstruction Team, and remote support teams. The QA/QC Field Engineer is expected to attend regular project meetings, support the setup and maintenance of the QA/QC software(s), coordinate internally and with other contractors, and assist the Project Manager with tracking of status, labor, financials, and contract requirements.
This role also supports the technical tools (i.e. iPads, QA/QC software), communicates project specifications needed, and any support details/drawings needed for QA/QC tasks (i.e. details of equipment layout, dimensions, equipment gear windows, RFI & Submittal updates) needed to keep the installation and QA/QC resources efficient.
The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, willing and able to learn project checklist and issue management software packages, and able to effectively communicate with a broad range of teams. Knowledge of electrical terminology and components is preferred.
