IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Auburn, Alabama seeks a full-time QA/QC Coordinator to support quality assurance standards and project inspections. You will identify non-conformances, coordinate inspections, and verify corrective actions while maintaining QA records.

The role requires 2–5 years' electrical construction experience, a HS Diploma/GED, and strong communication skills. Familiarity with safety policies and codes is important for site inspections and audits.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' recent electrical (industrial or commercial) construction experience.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
• Data Center experience preferred.
• Electrical field experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction disciplines.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

• Assists in development of Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions
• Identifies non-conformances and issues corrective/preventive action reports
• Monitors corrective actions and verifies closure of quality issues
• Maintains accruate QA/QC documentation and records
• Reports quality performance metrics to management
• Coordinates inspections, tests, and audits at various project stages
• Ensures compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes/regulations
• Performs onsite inspections of equipment and installations
• Proactively works with Project Team to ensure all installations are installed correctly the first time
• Performs work onsite with the Project Team in performing all inspections and reports
• Ensures compliance with all company and customer Safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• 2-5 year's recent electrical (industrial or commercial) construction experience.
• HS Diploma/GED.
• Understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
• Data Center experience is preferred.
• Electrical Field experience preferred.
• Through knowledge of construction disciplines.
• Proficient knowledge of computer programs (EXCEL/WORD).
• Strong communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
