IT Project Manager
6 month contract with expectation to be extended

Target rate: $68
Must work as a W2 employee through Fast Switch. No Corp to Corp
You will partner closely with business leaders, operational teams, product teams, technology partners, and stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for improvement, implement solutions, and drive adoption of new ways of working. This role helps ensure that strategic and operational initiatives are delivered consistently, efficiently, and with clear accountability.
The Impact
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Drive improvements across IT in test environments, test data, and testing processes to support faster speed to market and higher quality code delivery
- Lead and coordinate process improvement initiatives from planning through implementation and stabilization.
- Develop and maintain project plans, action trackers, timelines, milestones, and implementation roadmaps.
- Facilitate working sessions, stakeholder meetings, and status reviews to drive alignment, decisions, and progress.
- Monitor and track tasks, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and commitments across multiple teams.
- Hold stakeholders accountable for assigned actions and ensure timely completion of agreed-upon deliverables.
- Identify execution risks, bottlenecks, and delays, and proactively drive resolution to keep initiatives on track.
- Establish clear ownership, accountability, and governance processes to support successful delivery.
- Create and maintain project dashboards, status reporting, metrics, and executive communications.
- Partner with business and operational leaders to document current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement future-state solutions.
- Drive process standardization, operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and adoption of best practices.
- Support organizational change management, stakeholder communications, training, and readiness activities.
- Measure and report on process improvement outcomes, implementation progress, and realized business benefits.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Skills: The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of QA project management, process improvement, operations, business transformation, or related experience.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Proven ability to manage project plans, action registers, timelines, and deliverables.
- Strong facilitation, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating executive-level reporting and status communications.
The Ideal Qualifications
- PMP, CAPM, Lean, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or equivalent certification.
- Experience leading operational excellence, process improvement, or business transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to drive accountability and results in a matrixed environment without direct authority.
- Experience utilizing project management and reporting tools to track execution and performance.
- Financial Services, Insurance, Operations, or Technology industry experience.
