About The Job

The QA Processing Clerk receives and distributes specimens, processes and prepares them for testing, and communicates with the healthcare team. Ensures accurate registration and placement of test orders with complete information.

Responsibilities

• Operations: Manage contracts, register LIS, maintain documentation, verify patient info, label specimens correctly, prepare specimens for send-out, and assess specimen acceptability.
• Customer Service: Create a caring environment, establish positive relationships, answer calls courteously, and communicate results accurately.
• Reporting: Print and review reports, resolve issues, and make necessary corrections.
• Materials Management: Maintain supply levels.
• Quality and Compliance: Follow safety policies, perform safety checks, maintain quality assurance, report concerns, and meet departmental competencies.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Less than one year of related experience
